“Great stay, great food, would recommend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2010

We have just finished a week long trip to Ireland and of the four B&Bs we stayed in, this was our favorite. It was very clean and we had a spacious room. They also run a restuarant and the food here was delicious. The breakfast menu has loads of choices, and the food was good quality. The only minor complaints - the toilet was very wobbly! and the beds had plastic matress protector so it rustled everytime you moved! Overall though I would stay here again.

“dont bother”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2009

room cold despite booking in advance. welcome even colder. andy brace has a lot to learn about running a friendly hotel. room was noisy and at ground level, hence lights flashing. breakfast average at best. very very poor value.

“Perfect place to stay in the Dungannon area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2009

My wife and I are regular visitors to the Dungannon area and normally stay at local hotels, however this time we stayed at the Stangmore Town House.
We cannot fault it and will make it our first choice in the future.
Bedrooms are large, quiet and comfortable with en suite facilities and WIFI broadband.
The restaurant serves great evening meals and the breakfast was superb with more choice than most luxury hotels.
Thank you Andy and Ann - We'll be back.

“Great overnight dtop in Dungannon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2008

This is a pleasant small property in rural Tyrone. Dungannon is a mid sized town for Northern Ireland and does not have a great range of hotels. This property is the home of a restaurant and has a suite of rooms.

More than a guest house rather a small family hotel.

The rooms are generally downstairs and very well decorated.and appointed. They are mid sized not large but adequate. Wireless connections in rooms - free!

We did not dine as we were attending another function. Breakfast was good and reflected the standard of the restaurant.

I have dinned in the restaurant a number of times it is good - dinning rom lacks a certein ambience however owners very helpful and attentive.

“high standard of room and great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2007

I have just come back from a long weekend in Dungannon for a friend's wedding. A crowd of us all stayed in Stangmore. The hotel is conveniently located to the city centre, the proprietors are friendly and the house has a homely atmosphere and it's tastefully decorated, so much so i kept enquiring on the lovely mirrors and pictures dotted everywhere. Our room was spacious with a big bed and the hotel was spotless overall. Breakfast was delicious, selection of fruit & cereals available plus you can order a variety of cooked breakfasts. Excellent food. At £80 a night it's pretty pricey in my book but you haven't got much choice given it's a small town and ireland is expensive. highly recommended accomodation.
