Firstly they didn't have my booking, but then they found it... Very dated accommodation, could do with refurbishment or at least a good clean and a lick of paint. It was a Saturday night so the live band were playing, and our room was at the front of the hotel so the smokers and revellers added to the noise, it was gone 1am before we got some sleep. Breakfast was a shambles, with just one waitress covering a full hotel. You had to sit at the table that had your room number on... we were given a table for 2 but there were 2 room numbers on it for 4 guests, however there was no space, seats or cuttlery for the other 2 guests. We were told we could not move to a table to accommodate 4 because the tables had been laid for the correct number of guests per room (clearly not). Eventually the waitress allowed us to move - how kind!! They ran out of orange juice, our coffee's arrived after breakfast, and then to add insult to injury we were told whilst drinking our coffee that if we didn't check out by 10.30am promptly we would be charged for another night - charming!
Would not go back to this dive if you paid me
