Stayed here between Christmas and New Year for 2 nights, this being our second visit.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent on both nights. Breakfasts very good and bar and restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful.

Room, clean, warm and comfortable.

Stayed here last weekend, /january 13th and 14th . Staff at reception very friendly, can we help with luggage, provided map of Skipton advise on best lace to park. Room 302 overlooking canal, very large and comfy. Unlike other posts our central heating was excellent and easily adjustable.
Restaurant excellent breakfast super full english and the evening meal was exceptional. Staff in restaurant again very helpful and chatty. .canal lit up at night was great saw a huge owl flying round!!

We stayed here for a couple of nights 22nd & 23rd December for a family wedding at nearby Bolton Abbey. Were from Sheffield but all my family are scattered up and down the country so this was the perfect spot for us all to stay. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us in terms of making sure all the guests of the wedding had reserved rooms, etc. Some stayed one night some two, some changed their mind on the day but nothing was too much trouble.
Our rooms were large with plenty of room to get ready, irons & boards, everything we needed.
Lovely Bar area and breakfast was delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be coming back to lovely area and hotel.

Went to this hotel for Christmas 2011 upgraded so that we had a canal view and views over the countryside. Room very clean and a good size. All hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Upon arriving booking in was fast and friendly. We ate in the Baby Swan Restaurant but only had one meal in the Conservatory. We were never offered a table overlooking the Canal which was disappointing. Christmas lunch was traditional and excellent. Unfortunately the menu on a couple of evenings was rather limited to someone who likes good English fare.
The owners were also very friendly which helped make the break enjoyable.
