We arrived to Waka Shorea a little bit concerned from some comments read on Trip Asdvisors about cleanness of rooms and animals (rats) inside the room. Fortunately all our concerns disappeared after few hours of our stay: the environment was pretty clean, a lot of staff personnel ready to help always available, a very nice swiming pool and spa, and a great coral reef just in front of the resort. During the three nights we stay, staff personnel was much more numberous than guests.
Each room is one cottage in the forest, 50m from the beach, only 14 rooms + 2 suites are the resort. In such a wild environment, the maintenance should be improved a little bit, and the resort would become really exclusive.
Price are not cheap, specially considering that meals are to consumed within the resort (basically no other options); but the unicity of the position justifies such prices.
After a few days stay, the permanence over there could become boring (no attractions than nature) and really expensive... be careful in booking very long stay.
We would repeat that experience.
