“Home from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2011

We had the most fantastic trouble free holiday with the Mountain Mavericks - welcomed at the airport with no worries - transfered to the chalet and greated by the most wonderful staff, where nothing was too much trouble.
Although the chalet was a little way from the town it caused no problem as the staff were there to help with taxing us around and the setting was wonderful. The children were made to feel like they were a part of the family and completly at home. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. I will be back if I can save up in time for next year!!!!!

“A catered chalet providing excellent value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2011

Established a few miles outside of Morzine, Chalet Chambertin is situated a quiet, peaceful location. With a warm and friendly reception. the outstanding chalet staff do everything possible to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. As well as being extremely professional, their attention to detail is highly impressive. Indeed, we found that nothing was too much trouble for them. Our group took over the chalet for the week and with 7 en-suite bedrooms (lots may need to be drawn as sizes do vary) and with separate rooms for dining, sitting out and watching TV we were very well catered for; the private hot tub and sauna were added luxuries. The honesty bar is a welcome service at the end of the day and the free wine served with dinner more than acceptable. The location is not an issue with a flexible daily service to and from the ski slopes being provided by the chalet mini bus, as well as a free local bus service stopping right outside the chalet. For those who require it, equipment hire is arranged in advance and is all organised at the chalet on arrival. In summary an excellent value for money holiday.

“4 years in a row and we keep coming!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2011

We have just returned from yet another sucessful ski trip to Chalet Chambertain! This time we were just a family of 4 taking no body else with us...... it was a gamble that paid off. The other families were delightful it was as if it had been engineered! Kids similar ages, a perfect combo. The highlight of my trip has to be Mel the chalet host offering me the drink of my choice whilst in the hot tub, thats service! Your every need is catered for, a quick call from the slopes and the minibus is there to welcome you as soon as you step off the lift/piste.! Nothing is too much trouble. 5 star luxury, in a quiet picturesque location. Perfect for everyone who wants the perfect ski trip. Think we will try the summer their too.....!

“Great staff, great food, great service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

We found this chalet through Tripadvisor and were impressed by the reviews. We can only agree with all that has been said before. We were extra lucky though as the only residents for an early season break. So we had a chef Tanel, chalet host Mel and driver Dom all to ourselves!
Food was terrific, similar to a high quality restaurant, Mel kept the chalet and room in great shape and brought us coffee to the room in the morning. Dom collected us from Geneva and shuttled us to and fro the slopes daily. Small touches like having the skis loaded and the minibus warmed up in morning were appreciated. We had a large room with balcony to look out over the two feet of snow that fell the night we arrived and then watch Dom clear the driveway the morning after and safely drive us to the lifts.

We had choice of hot-tub, sauna and tv room to relax in and enjoy the house wine that was very palatable. We met Ollie and Emma who are clearly keen to keep up and improve their standard.
It's a bit out of town but that's pretty much irrelevant with the minibus service provided.

Hard to imagine that we could we be better looked after. Would not hesitate to recommend this chalet or indeed stay here again ourselves

“Perfect mountain biking stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2010

My boyfriend and I stayed in Chalet Chambertin in August to enjoy the famous Morzine mountain biking. We went with pretty high expectations considering the glowing reviews on tripadvisor but we were still blown away when we got there. We were given a beautiful big room with a ridiculously large and comfortable bed! We also had a nice shower/bath room with a monsoon shower and L'Occitane toiletries. The chalet has a nice communal living area, a smaller television room with playstation, dining area and and outdoors jacuzzi. The food was excellent, good restaurant standard. We had 3 courses which were always lovely and Olly would always work with any dietary requirements. Most importantly, Emma and Olly are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble! Morzine was also a great place to go in summer, especially for mountain biking. The bike parks were busy but the XC tracks were pretty quiet and brilliant fun. There's also lots of walking to do and we enjoyed going white water rafting nearby. Overall, couldn't recommend it more!
