We staid at this charming hotel in January. The staff was really friendly and the food excellent.
We had a fab time and would recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel des Dromots for 4 nights earlier this month. What a sensational experience it was. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff always did their best to accomodate our requests. The restaurant staff made us feel so confortable that we dined there every day of our stay...the food was sensational and a wine list to die for!!!
The room could be regarded as being on the 'smaller' side but the decor and finishings were truely five star. The room got serviced twice a day (morning & early evening).
We will definitly be returning to that hidden 'GEM' and we would like to thank the team at the Dromots for such a wonderful time.
See you all next year.

What a terrible place! From the so-called "superior"- rooms (they are tiny and the smallest rooms in the hotel which we didn't know. The name we were explained by the very unhelpful manager means nothing!) to the bad housekeeping. I got the feeling that everything is done to save money here and the guests suffer as a result. The place is dirty. Our bathroom towels were only changed once all week and my children's never although they stayed in a Deluxe room. The decor is tired with frayed carpets and stained bed covers The half-board food is very bland and mainly exists of cheapish ingredients like egg, potato, cabbage and a piece of non-descript meat. The dining room was cold and understaffed. Breakfast was chaotic and badly managed: they ran out of things constantly, the orange juice was watered-down and the staff grumpy. The only thing which keeps this place going is the location I guess!

We stayed at the Hotel les Dromonts for a Corporate outing in Avoriaz.
We had booked 24 rooms (out of 30) and two meals (friday night and saturday lunch).
We had a deceiving meal on friday night (cold pastas, bad smelling fish, bad red wine...). The lunch on saturday was good although a bit too much for a group with activities. (better too much than not enough though!)

I didn't feel the reception was outstanding although not bad.

I wouldn't recommend groups to go there: It's VERY costly and they don't handle groups well. The only good thing is the location obviously (and the fact that's it's the only hotel in Avoriaz station.....)
