A group of a dozen of us stayed here for a week and very much enjoyed our time. The Hotel has very strange architecture, both inside and out - even by French Alpine standards - and my room didn't seem to have a straight line or right angle in it.
The bedrooms had the usual failings of French Hotels with low beds and 20W light bulbs which make reading in bed impossible but otherwise perfectly clean and satisfactory. The bathrooms were also clean and well appointed with nice toiletries and lashings of hot water - very welcome.
The public spaces were very nice but the food was outstanding. We had the fixed menu every night and every single dish was faultless. The wine list was not very inspiring and rather pricey. The staff were polite and extremely helpful.
The location was good, near the centre of the village and easy to ski and out which is a real bonus

Visited 2 years ago; had a great meal with fab service. Spent a week there over New Year. Very disappointed with the rooms (too small; poorly serviced). Food not hot enough; average quality; but good service. Breakfast same every day; poorly run; poor quality.
Public areas (bar) very nice; good service.
Reception staff ok.
Good location.
Wouldnt bother to go back.
Doubtful would seek out M Leroys other establishments if this is an example of his standards.

We staid at this charming hotel in January. The staff was really friendly and the food excellent.
We had a fab time and would recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel des Dromots for 4 nights earlier this month. What a sensational experience it was. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff always did their best to accomodate our requests. The restaurant staff made us feel so confortable that we dined there every day of our stay...the food was sensational and a wine list to die for!!!
The room could be regarded as being on the 'smaller' side but the decor and finishings were truely five star. The room got serviced twice a day (morning & early evening).
We will definitly be returning to that hidden 'GEM' and we would like to thank the team at the Dromots for such a wonderful time.
See you all next year.
