Stayed there for one night only and glad that we did not spend more time there. The hotel is only good if you have a car - it is far from the lake and old town of Annecy. Pros: close to the main highway, the receiption was open late, when we arrived (not always the case with the cheap french hotels), free parking and wifi. Cons: the hotel is next to the road and you can easily hear cars passing by. Rooms are motel-type, so windows are facing gallery - no real privacy, especially if your room is close to the stairs. Room interior was tired, although acceptable. Breakfast was too expensive for this kind of hotel, so we did not tried it.
Overall, it seems to be too expensive for the simple road side motel and too far away from main attractions of Annecy to charge extra for that. But, if the price is right and you only plan to spend a night there - it may be not the worst choice, especially if you compare with the hotel prices in Geneva - only 40 minutes away.

What to expect from a Campanile - no more no less.
Location isn't the best to go downtown to the lake and it is difficult not to find but to access the hotel from teh highway exit, you must pay careful attention not to go too far.

During a roadtrip through France and staying in several cheaply designed highway or suburb hotels, we found this one of the better ones. Maybe also because it had a functioning airco. The layout is simple, but the room has what a sleeping place needs (don't see this as a resort or holiday hotel where you will spend all your days... this is just a sleepover hotel!). In what it is, it does it;s job good. It was clean when we were there (several years ago!, let's hope they did some maintenance the last years). All in all, on a roadtrip through France, this one is okay and Annecy is a nice town!
