The hotel is basic but very comfortable - the staff are very friendly and helpful indeed. I enjoyed my stay and would go back. for the money you got a good deal. It is not right in the town of Cannes but this makes for a peaceful nights sleep - there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it is only 1 euro to get the bus into town - they run on time and are regular. You can walk into town - about 20mins? Bus from and to Airport very close buy - and you can buy your ticket on the bus 16 euros. takes 20mins to the airport. Beware of taxi's cost me 26 euros bit of a rip off. Take your own pillow - because the french do not do good pillows - even in the top hotels. visit the old town - lots of lovely resturaunts much better than the main strip. denise taylor cornwall
