Our stay at the Hotel Castel Beau Site was really a pleasant experience. The staff spoke English, was more than friendly and showed us to a very nice, modern room with a great view over the bay and the local rock formations in the water.
Dinner was fairly chique, not an occasion to wear jeans to. Our waiters spoke French only, but we translated the menu with a little from our Android and chose some delicious entrees with good wine. After that we retired in a very comfortable bed and we look back to two incredible days at this stylish hotel.
The only thing is the puny parking space next to the hotel. With perhaps 20 spots it fills up rather quickly. But the hotel is right next to the center of Ploumanac'h which offers a lot of free parking, a three minute walk from the hotel.

For those who like britany , this is a perfect setting: a small beach surrounded by thèse famous pink rocks of Ploumanach.This old building has been entirely reconstructed , it is very nicely decorated , rooms are not huge but they all offer a magnificent view.Functionnal.
Breakfast is fine, you have to ask for the express breakfast is you only need coffee or tea, bread and orange juice.Dinner is probably a little overpriced.
Certainly one of the best " spot" hotels I ever stayed.

We stumbled upon this beautiful hotel by chance and what a find. The view from our window was stunning and the room was lovely. It is a shame we was not there in the summer to utilise the sandy beaches but we did have a whole cove to ourselves for a sunset barbeque. We will definitely return to Ploumanach, it is by far the most amazing coastline I have seen. I would recommend Castel Beau Site for a romantic stay. I cannot believe it is not rated above some of the other places we drove past.

Could have not founds a better located hotal than this one. If sits on the sea shore with rooms overlooking the bay. rooms are very clean and mimalist in style. It appears that all the rooms overlook the sea.

Whilst the hotel has no pool it does not need it as the bay is very safe bathing as the tide comes in and I must say the best dip I had all hooliday.

Food was good and service formal, we were very happy with it.

With many walking paths, especially the path to the lighthouse would very suite romantics and hikers.

It was nice to hace a docking station in the room in which we could put in the i-pod so that we both could listen to music, whilst reading and glancing out of our room over the bay, heaven.

Would certainly recommend, noted some bad reviews, in the past, either the hotel has listened or I suspect the clients writing the reviews failed to realise their own shortcomings.

We almost did not stay here due to those reviews, however whilst this was not the best stay in our trip it is still one of our all time best.
