I reserved and paid for my room for one night in April, 2010, at this hotel via Yahoo Travel. Upon arriving at the hotel the administration informed me that the room had not been paid for, so I had to pay for it upon check out the next day. When I got home and checked my credit card e-statement, I discovered that both Yahoo Travel and the Quality Suites Bordeaux Airport charged me for the one night. I am still waiting to hear from the hotel and what action they will take to correct this error.

This is a decent hotel close to the airport. Spacious and clean rooms and modern styling all over. There is a shuttle that starts at 6:30am. WiFi is available for 7 Euro. I selected this hotel because of the Fitness room (not very common in France). I turned out that almost all of the installations were broken (the elliptical, the running belt , the weights - all out of service) . I was able to use the bike and that did the job. Nevertheless - poor performances. Staff at the reception was not very friendly but OK. Staff at bar and restaurant was friendly. If you don't mind the fitness room I can recommend this place for travel in- and out of the airport. I doesn't seem a good choice if you wish to visit Bordeaux (but I have no frame of reference concerning hotels in the city center).

The room was clean, good bed, air conditioned, kitchenette, sound proof--important since it's next to the airport. The restaurant was adequate--the English translation on their menu needs some help--remember that beef tartare is raw hamburger with a raw egg next to it, not their English translation of 'Sirloin Steak.' Front desk staff are not helpful and do not communicate well in English--my French is passable and after getting along very well on our own for three weeks in France this was the only time I felt something was 'lost in translation.' Over the phone, their directions of how to find their hotel from the airport was to find the Mercure Hotel and at the roundabout turn right. But you are only 5 minutes driving time to the airport, very important if you have a very early morning flight before hotel shuttles operate, and a rental car to drop off. I'd stay there again.

We booked this hotel via 'cheeptravel.co.uk' for a bargain price of £27. We thought there was a mistake it was that cheap and expected the receptionist to look at us blankly when we said we had booked a suite. Far from it, we arrived after midnight and the night porrter was there to greet us confirming our reservation without hesitation. The hotel is immaculate. The bedroom was spotless, spacious, king size bed with nice crisp bedding, lovely bathroom with all the special 'bits' you would expect in a good quality hotel. We didn't book breakfast as it was pricey at 17 euros each, we decided we would eat at the airport where we were due to pick up our family the next morning. The lobby of the hotel is chic and the bar area very inviting although we did not have chance to sample. I would gladly recommend this hotel. It is a two minute drive to the airport so very convenient.
