I stayed at this hotel already a few times & I can openly recommend it to any traveller finding himself on the road in need of a comfy, clean and quite accomodation.
This hotel is rated 3 stars: rooms are well kept and spacious. Bathroom is also large. The bed is firm and although the rooms are just off the motorway they are very quite. Some rooms are nowadays updated with free in room internet via your tv set. Coffee, tea & juices are available free of charge during the day. Breakfast is served in the main lobby, with fresh bakery, hot beverages, juices, cold cuts and all you need to start you day off.
Staff is polite, helpfull & efficent. Free parking is provided. Full service restaurant is provided 3 mins walk away at the motorway station with a discount of 10% for hotel guests: the only down side is that, being situated in a motorway, no alcool is served, which is no wine with your meal nor a beer.
Overall a very nice experience.

Stayed here for a week in August 2008. Nice little hotel just off the motorway which gives you easy access to other routes. Clean, tidy rooms with firm beds give a good nights sleep.Continental buffet breakfast with a selection of cereals,breads,meats,cheeses,fruits and toast give a good start to the day.There is coffee,tea,fruit juices and fruit availabe at all times which is free.Concierge service is 24 hours a day.Helpful staff and services including internet access and the location just outside of Bern make this an ideal place to tour Switzerland.Highly recommended.

Stopped here in the dark at the end of a long drive and expected one of those standard motel style hotels. This was a brief drive away from the public areas and is a stylish, hidden away modern hotel. Well appointed rooms.

However, big warning - since it is on the motorway, the "hotel restaurant" is back down in the services area. Food was good quality for a highway stop but no alcohol. Equally there was no hotel bar ! This was not what we needed at the end of a long drive, so if you plan to stay there take your own booze !

Pricing was very reasonable - same as a much less well appointed Campanile on the French side the previous day (but that did allow you to have wine with dinner...).

Ok, the Grauholz is a highway hotel, but still belongs to the Best Western group. It was a hot day when i checked in and the rooms where more a sauna than anything else. After asking for another room, i got the prompt answer that every room has no AC and should open the window. Now this might be a solution, but not at an highway hotel, where you have trucks and smog 24/7. After my 30 Minute stay i decided to leaf and checked out. No argumentation, full rate charged and for me a never come back location.
