Stayed here for 3 weeks. Great staff, convenient location adjacent to a nice little town.

Although above a casino, this is a great option if you are staying in Mondorf. Friends all stayed at the Parc Hotel but I think I was the winner, with a huge room, friendliest staff ever and fantastic breakfast. I booked in advance so got a good deal and I have been feeling smug ever since. A nice surprise.

This was a weekend trip and our first visit to Luxembourg.

Surprisingly easy to get to, we travelled by bus 16 from Luxembourg airport and changed at Central station for bus 175 to Mondorf-les-Bains. Total journey time was 50 minutes.

Mondorf-les-bains is set in the countryside, right on the border with France. The town is peaceful and the principal attractions are the Casino and the nearby thermal spa.

The Casino 2000 hotel is set on seven floors above the casino and there are five rooms on each floor.

All the modern en-suite rooms are large, spotlessly clean, furnished to a high specification and air conditioned. We had a lovely view across the extensive grounds of the casino and towards the unspoilt countryside beyond. All of the english speaking staff were courteous and professional.

There was a well stocked mini-bar, in-room safe and room service available. Complimentary self-service breakfast, comprising of full cooked and continental selections was served in one of the three restaurants and was delicious and filling. Free (!) champagne was available in the breakfast room.

If you want an excellent hotel to base yourself for a weekend of good quality gambling or a peaceful base to explore Luxembourg, then the Casino 2000 hotel is an superb choice.
