Visit to Pangot ..Kafal House was the first stop in our 10 day itinery in offbeat Uttarakhand.The simplicity and comfort of the lodge was immensely gratifying notwithstanding the non-intrusive yet concerned services of the staff.Kafal House ,itself is situated quite unobtrusively in the jungles of Pangot and offers a delightful getaway for a citybred.Initially misleading but the natural charm is quite by chance and oh!so restful.The staff is warm,friendly and informative ,very courteous and fortunately not clinically so like in tourist destinations!!They very much feel like somebody you've known earlier and that by far speaks volumes about the extent of comfort felt by us.The food is delectable and fresh..customised which makes one feel special.We stayed in one of the inter-connected rooms which was basic,simple and very comfortable.The verandah was however used more than the rooms as it provided a great view and the tranquility of the surroundings permeated deep within us.The only suggestion i would care to make is to do away with the plastic chairs as they were so out of sync in the rustic environs!Library was a huge surprise and a great comfort too..Thank you ,everyone at Kafal House for looking after us with so much warmth and keep up the good work.
