I stayed at the Clarion Hotel Visby for one night as I was attending a wedding in Visby. The front of house staff very were accomadating and when they had been informed that I needed my room early due to the fact I had to get dressed for a wedding, they made it happen.

The rooms are large, bright and beautiful and the location of this hotel could not be better.

I can highly reccomend the Clarion Hotel Visby!

The hotel is located in the old part of visby, only a few minutes from the beach. The (superior) room was nicely decorated and unique (sitting area/bedroom on two levels). The reception area and lounge/bar is nice and welcoming. Excellent restaurants, that were recommended by the hotel staff, are within walking distance. Definitely the place to stay in visby.

We are a family who really enjoyed our stay in Visby at the Clarion Hotel Wisby. We walked from the harbor to the hotel and were given rooms w/ sofa beds to accommodate the kids. The room was not huge but very comfortable and well-appointed. In fact, we agreed that the bedding was the most comfortable that we experienced throughout our trip to Scandinavia.

The boys were disappointed that the pool was closed, but this is the only fault we could find with the hotel. We used Choice points to book the rooms, so the value was tremendous. Ask the front desk for free wifi codes.

Just arrived home after spending two night at the Clarion Visby. Fisst day we went for a swin in the hotel pool and were told we had to pay 95kronor per person. Hotel no longers owns the pool or spa. After arriving back from dinner the bar was backed with people who were doing poetry readings. No room at all for the hotel guest to sit. For the money I would not stay here. Breakfast was awful. Salty scrambled eggs, hard bolied eggs that were not cooked properly, fruit that was bland, etc....

Would not stay in a Clarion Hotel again.
