Conveniently located, nice garden, great service. Make sure you reserve a parking space, in case you come with your car.

If you are looking for the standard corporate place to stay, this is not it. This hotel has a very friendly feel to it. It is located off the main touristy streets which means it is quite quiet and the building itself was not built to be a hotel which means the rooms are more or less unique and quirky (in a good way!). There is also a lovely garden where you can relax and have coffee.

The staff is friendly and helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations. The breakfast left me satisfied and there is free WiFi.

I will be coming back!

This was by far our favorite place in Sweden. It helps that the city of Visby itself is a must-see. Hotel has fascinating church ruins right on the property. Two lovely courtyards to sit and relax in or to enjoy breakfast in. Room was a little bit small, but comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff super friendly and always willing to give suggestions for things to see, places to go in Gotland. Stay here and keep your windows open in the afternoon and at night so you can listen to the church bells toll out the hours. I loved it!

The hotel has a unique setting, next to the church ruins. Our room overlooked the entrance to the botanical gardens. It was comfortable and pleasantly decorated.
It was a lovely place to stay. The only negative was, It would have been good to be able to make a cup of tea in the room. Although there was complimentary tea/coffee making available in the reception area, the water provided was not hot enough / and milk not always available.
Would definitely stay there again.
