Maybe it was because we got upgraded to a delux unit, but this motel far exceeded our expectations. Really clean, flat screen HDTV, great toiletries, excellent kitchen facilities, if somewhat small. Granted it was just myself and my 8 year old but we loved it and the facilities...to quote my child...Best holiday ever mum.

This motel is located a little far out of town. The reception staff were chatty and welcoming and gave us a free upgrade as it was mid winter and the motel wasn't full. Our chintzy room featured a double bedroom, additional bed in the lounge area, a basic kitchenette and patio style furniture. It was clean... to the point of being too clean i.e. the smell of bleach was overwhelming! We looked at the choices available at the on site restaurant but unimpressed ventured back into Canberra. The beds were OK, not overly comfortable but OK for a one night stay.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. for the price, $130 a night (RIPOFF I SAY), it was totally not worth it. it's not near the parliament house or any other attractions and our first day there we found a huge spider crawling on the towel on one of the beds and several ants. i had to call them and ask for pest spray. DONT STAY HERE!

This was a good choice for 3 friends travelling together. Some reviews had mentioned difficulty with access to the bathroom so we requested a 2 bedroom unit which we obtained without any problem and it was fine. We liked the fact that the units were separate from each other, and there was a very efficient gas heater for a cold Canberra winter's night. We would stay here again.
