My second trip to Preseli having done the Adrenaline cocktail weekend previously in October. The second trip was better. Accommodation improved, spotlessly clean, the welcome warm and friendly, food plentiful and homely, and the bar well stocked. Can't fault my weekend at all. The Kayaking was fun as I joined a group of lads from up north, then a wonderful afternoon coasteering in a small group with a leader who made the whole trip exciting and interesting. The following morning the coastal hike had to be foreshortened thanks to high winds, but the coastal path is beautiful in any weather. This is a great weekend away for a really impressively small cost. Highly recommended to anyone.

I first did a Preseli adventure weekend in July 2009- it was the best weekend of my life, so I came back for more in March 2010! The lodge is spectacularly comfortable, very clean, extremely welcoming and very eco-friendly. I felt like family from the moment I was picked up at the train station- especially so when presented with all the incredible (included!) home-cooked meals throughout the weekend (I still dream about how good the lasagne and apple pie were!). The bar stays open all night, providing reasonably-priced drinks (though tea, juice, water, etc are free)- and expect a campfire!! There are games, books, magazines, etc in the lounge and the beds are very comfy (best sleep I'd had in months). All levels and experiences are catered to, and I always felt well-cared for and prepared for the activities. I am a good kayaker, but an absolute beginner surfer, but both activities were an absolute joy- and there is no better scenery for these then coastal Wales. Everyone should do coasteering- it is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to actually be IN the postcard-worthy scenery scrambling around rocks, leaping into and swimming through the clean blue water. The 8-mile (or shorter, for the less energetic) coastal hike provides hours of glorious views, each corner with an even more spectacular cliff to photograph- and lots of sheep! It's utter paradise (even the air feels difference in Pembrokeshire) and I'm already planning my 3rd trip to Preseli. No, I honestly don't work for them, am just a very happy and satisfied repeat guest!! I cannot recommend Preseli enough, whether you are alone, with friends, a group, a couple on a romantic weekend, a family... you'll love it!

I booked an Adventure Weekend for two to celebrate my 40th Birthday and couldn't of had a nicer weekend. We didn't really know what to expect before we got there but we were both looking forward to the Kayaking; Coasteering and Hiking.

We were greeted by Charles who was very friendly and pleasant; this level of customer service was consistent throughout all the staff; nothing was too much trouble.

The accommodation was more than adequate and we loved the bed in the eaves; the view was fantastic. The food was ample and rustic which was just what was needed after a morning or afternoon of activities

We spent our activities with two great instructors who took care of us; I didn't do the big jump during the coasteering but I was under no pressure to do it; it's all about you and your limits

The weather was fantastic; location is beautiful and staff are always helpful

The only downside to the weekend was we were a couple amongst a group of lads on a stag do and group of American Students; this made the socialising interesting

We have already booked another weekend and we are joining up with another couple this time

This was our second visit to Preseli. Loved all the team there - felt like they couldn't do enough. We did a couple of days coasteering which was challenging and exciting at the same time - back at the Preseli ranch things had been revamped - the new look lodge is like a welsh version of a ski lodge(!) - slate floors, interesting rooms, cosy fire and fab food. The shared showers are large individual bathrooms, very clean and private so not a problem there. The lodge is very chilled and a really nice place to come back to after a days excitement.
