If you stay here, I would assume you have a car. If you have a car, you can stay anywhere in Canberra (Canberra is a city designed for cars). If you rely on buses, don't do it. This is nowhere near anything, as others said.

The room was clean, comfortable. Hair dryer in bathroom. The configuration, and size of room, is quite similar to the chain Holiday Inn Express.

The land seems quite big, corridor after corridor. And we found swimming pool + gym + spa + sauna, all free for guests to use. (see photos)

Also found BBQ outside (see photo again), but don't know what they are for (saw them when having breakfast, and it was raining)

The room is clean, you will be happy to sleep here. That's about it.

I think the service is improving. The owners/managers seemed friendly enough but if it wasn't for work and this being the only local hotel in the area, I wouldn't be staying here for private trips.

The room rate ironically seems to mirror what is the travelling allowance rate. In a commerical market, I think the prices would be lower. Also the prices for room service, items from reception seem to be over inflated. $25 for fish and chips that came with 2 very small pieces of fish and very minimal chips is not good value, $15 would have been a better price. And then to also charge a $4 room delivery fee on top of room service for such a small hotel is just looking for a buck. I can understand this in a multi-level hotel but not here.

Room was basic. Bed wasn't terribly good, pillows were worse. I knew I was in trouble when I saw a floor heater in the room which was in addition to the reverse cycle air-con. Was terribly difficult to regulate the temperature.

This place has been around for 10 years now and seems to be getting tired. Everyone else from work that travels from out of town would prefer to stay elsewhere and if we weren't hamstrung by its location, I definitely would as well.

If you are visisting Tuggeranong then this is about it. It's standard fare but comfortable.

The Town Centre Club is next door and is good for cheap eats.

The Hyperdome is about 5 minutes walk away and there are a variety of shops and eateries there.

Unless you are an early riser (before 6.00am), avoid the rooms just above the dining area as the clatter from the preparation for brakfast early in the morning is quite noisy.

Service has improved. Years ago I stayed 2 nights and the hot water was not working - it was badly handled by those at reception, some guests received a bonus night or upgrade while others did not receive so much as a 'sorry'. I fell in the latter category and then chose to stay elesewhere for a few years. I've since forgiven them.

Rooms are generally clean and comfortable - cleaning of bathroom variable and mould is usually present (although many hotels in this class seem to have this problem).

It's ok for a budget hotel.

This motel is at Greenway (Tuggeranong). For a start it is so close to everything you need. Two big clubs with good restaurants, sporting facilities and a huge gym nearby. Not to mention the Hyperdome shopping Centre, which is large.
The rooms can vary. So are a little older than others, but all rooms are similar with either one bed or two, Pay to view movies are a total rip off at 13 bucks, you are kidding. No digital TV's now but that has to change soon. Rooms have the usual 'insert key for room power', but these only control the lights. You can leave the TV on without it.
Phone signals are crap around this area, so get a room on the upper floor if you need your own broadband wireless. I was allowed to change rooms and got a much better signal on the upper west area. Rooms are clean and well equipped. No microwaves, but that seems to be a rarity everywhere. Rooms mostly have shower over bath.
It is a well equipped motel of 100 rooms with an indoor pool, spa, sauna and gym. Great breakfast in the reastaurant, with decent coffee, fruit and some very evil but tasty looking pastries for breakfast. I didn't have any! Prices are good and the staff are very friendly. House keeping staff appear to be very well trained and are extremely polite and helpful, so don't ignore them, Say hello too.
Great motel that appears to be extremely busy, so you will have to book way ahead. Great for international visitors as they will appreciate the hundreds of kangaroos around the motel rear. It adjoins parkland. Very quiet and nothing negative.
Great to see staff that are helpful, obliging and professional.
