Saw rave reviews on another site... Perhaps we were at a different place. The staff was quite nice and helpful and the food was decent (try the Ciorba And the chocolate crepes were divine). My kids loved the Midieval touches and the rustic garden is clever...But when my teenage son calls it awful, you know it's bad. True, we are accustomed to a little higher end place- but he's never complained before when we make an unfortunate choice. Here
are a few samples of our experience-the good- the service was very nice, hospitable, helpful... The restaurant was very nicely decorated with beautiful wood tables and chairs. The room decor was original wood quirky pieces ... The idea is good, it just all needs a little fixing up. The bad - cramped
bathrooms with poor tile jobs and cracking tile, smoke smelling room with a burn hole in the comforter,
broken furniture (the cute make up desk fell apart, the bed had broken headboard pieces, and the rustic
closet had a loose piece.) The shower ran out of hot water after 1 shower, they seemed to correct the problem when I complained, very very old tiny TV in our room (website says plasma... 1 room had it the other didn't). Children play equipment was one plastic climbing cube with a slide suitable for toddlers about 2 or so, the game room was an outdoor porch with aging pool tables and the fitness area was 3 pieces tucked in a corner under the covered car port outside. We checked out early.
