Stayed Feb 2-9/12. Went with our three kids ages 17, 11,9 and the younger kids had a great time however not much for our oldest daughter.
Our overall experiencewas good, but wouldn't go back for three reasons:
First the bus ride there took just over two hours to get to resort from Montego Bay,
Second, my husband and i only drink Appletons rum and even though they advertise having it there was none served at any Beaches or Sandals resorts only El Dorado from Guiana. You would think that your in Jamaica and they would serve or have their own best rum.
Third: We were never informed that they don't take any cash at the resort and you need to give them your credit card when u check in. Everything that from items at gift shop to braiding the kids hair to doing craft for the kids will be charged to your credit card.
This was abit upsetting as we are Canadian and everything is in US Dollars and we had already brought US Dollars with us.
We dont think we would go back to this resort for the reasons stated above.

Wow, what can I say? We have travelled the world and have never experienced the hospitality, service and friendly,attentive staff we encountered at Boscobel Beaches! Being in the "hospiatlity" industry ourselves, we can be a "bit" critical but there was nothing we found here to criticize! Thank you, to you all for making our 40th wedding vacation one to remember. We travelled with our kids and grand kids, they catered to everyone!! We'll definitely be back! ..... Lacey keep those Dirty Bananas flowing!

My wife and I (mid thirties) and our two kids (2 and 5 months) had a terrific family trip. Bottom line: Food: excellent. Facilities: very good. Staff: extremely friendly and helpful. Children's programs: plentiful and high quality. Pool and Waterpark: awesome. Overall: a memorable and relaxing experience. We would easily return. Note: I must say after spending a week here it is clear to me that the majority of the negative comments about this resort on tripadvisor have been petty and entirely unfounded. I wish tripadvisor would create a rating system for the raters. I sense a lot of people on here are posting trivial complaints and if they only ever write negative reviews that would be helpful information in order to give context when reading an individuals review. We found Beaches Boscobel to be a great spot for creating family memories.

Our family just returned from a two week vacation in Boscobel, Our first week was spent at a rental villa down the road. In hindsight we should have just booked with Beaches Boscobel for the full 2 weeks. This resort separates itself from the rest by its wonderful attentive staff. This is a true FAMILY RESORT, if you are looking for an adult vacation with no kids then look to its sister property Sandals.

We vacationed with our 2 kids (2 yr old boy and 6 month old girl) as well as our parents. The kids club was wonderful with the baby and the ladies in there were very attentive. (Renise babysat for us one night in our room so we could enjoy some of the later entertainment) She was wonderful.

Our 2 year old went from being scared of water to riding all the slides and being extremely comfortable in the water. He hasn't stopped asking to ride the "green slide, yellow slide, blue slide and brown slide" since we got home. Casey the lifeguard was amazing with our little boy, they became friends after Casey's persistent patience and attentiveness. We now are proud to call Casey a family friend and wish him well in his endeavors to be a boat captain with Beaches. The Sesame Street Show was fantastic for the kids but the other entertainment was also really fun to watch and participate in.

The food was in our minds perfect, never the same thing at the buffet,(a different theme daily) so many choices to choose from. If you cant find something you like you have real issues. We dined at every restaurant and found them all delicious. Plus you can always head up to the buffet after if you didn't find something to your liking on the menu.

Now when I say this is a family resort that doesn't mean the adults cant have a great time to. Lacey Ann brought us drinks by the pool, she anticipated our needs and kept the drinks flowing. Down at the pool bar Dwight made us the most amazing concoctions to suit everyones tastes - You have to try the Dwight Delight. Down at the Dive Shop/Beach Marvin was awesome.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Ishka in the Sales Office for making this vacation possible. She checked in with us daily. Howard the GM was always around and available. He truly has his finger on the pulse of everything going on. Audrey in the gift shop was more than just a retail manager. Igol the Food and Beverage manager was around every time we ate to ensure we loved the food no matter which restaurant we ate in. Devon made every breakfast fun for our little boy and I think my daughter developed a crush on him LOL. The rooms were cleaned daily and our beds were even turned down every afternoon.

Thank you to Beaches Boscobel and its amazing staff for a week in Paradise. We will see you next year.
