Stayed here a number of times for business. It is one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. The rooms are excellent, spotlessly clean, great showers and free WIFI.I honestly cannot think of one negative, the owners will go out of their way to accommodate you. The breakfast great, portions too big:) with lots of choice. The last time I stayed I went to Carlow by train and rather than call a taxi to take me to my appointment the owner offered to drive me there. Great garden facilities, make sure to check them out! Highly recommended will always stay there when in Carlow.

What A great place Avlon House BB I have stayed in a good few bbs in Ireland and this one rates the top of the list in my opinion this is the finest B and B in the country.
Tom really looks after you and is very hospitable.
I would recommend Avlon House to anyone. Excellent would stay there again anytime.

Fantastic stay overall. Lovely warm hospitality,comfortable cosy room with everything you would need. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff made the trip even better. Would recommend this B& B to any one. We will diffently be back very soon.

My family of four stayed at this great B&B just after Christmas 2011 and all agree that this B&B is a quality place to stay. We spent five weeks in total travelling through ireland, England and then 4 days in Paris and would honestly say that this one was probably the best service and style that we encountered during that time and indeed value for money. The rooms were spotless, spacious and pleasantly decorated with perfect bathroom facilities and the breakfast was truly delicious. Tom is the perfect host and was very helpful, printing off information from his computer for us to assist with directions for the next part of our journey. I would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone looking for quality.
