Stayed at this hotel in April as a base point to do an excursion to Glacier 3000.
Small hotel in a typical swiss village - small rooms but with great views!

The hotel is located in a very quiet locality. It is surrounded by the alps on all sides and the view is breathtaking. We took several walks in that locality and every time the view just totally got to us. The view from the window is really nice.
The common area is pretty nice will a pool table and seating area.
Also make sure you take the rooms with the balcony (not every room has a balcony)
The only issue is that the rooms are kind of small and we couldnt find a bell boy at the desk in the morning.

We stayed here for two nights. It is small town hotel with nice clean facility.

Rather cmall rooms, small clean attached bath with hot water. Nice spacious lounge with pool table (paid). Not much of view from Hotel room. But just outside everything is close - good eating place, pubs.

Life virtually stops by 9 pm. So is everything in the Hotel.The doors are locked by 10 pm. So if you are outside the Hotel, it may be difficult to enter, unless you have the room key with you.

The market is nice. The rail station is 10 minutes walk from the Hotel. There are buses which will take you to the rope way stations to the snowcapped hills for all kinds of experience in snow and ice.

The food in the hotel is average with very little choice. But the food in the nearby restaurants are very good. The staff is friendly but communication is slightly difficult in English.

this hotel has a good location in the centre of town and the public areas and the room were fine. However for a four star establishment the food was poor. The breakfast buffet and evening meals were boring and restricted in choice. The quality was not what i would expect. the pool was cold and bleak.
