The Hotel Speer offers a good-value wedding package; we booked nine rooms for guests travelling to Rapperswil from the UK, Canada, France and the Netherlands for our son's wedding. The hotel was ideal with excellent service and is easy to reach, opposite the railway station with parking close by. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and well-equipped and the wedding couple were given a beautiful suite. Convenient for the lake front, historic town centre and the Holzsteg (boardwalk) over the lake. We all loved it.

Hotel was very clean, personnel were very helpful and friendly, location near the train station and the waterfront couldn't had been better, good amenity the free use of a health spa/fitness centre nearby, nice touches the box of chocolates with a thank you note in our room twice, super hotel, super Rapperswil whose location made it ideal for our several travels inside Switzerland and into Germany too.

A really good choice of hotel, clean, comfortable, has everything you need like tea/coffee making in the room, free wifi, nice Thai restaurant, gym access 5 minutes walk away, good buffet breakfast, bar, close to everything, good restaurants 2 minutes walk away on the lake and very helpful staff.
