It is a moderate hotel, with close location to the airport, hence good for those who stay in Gva for one night only.

Rooms are small but cossy. Food is decent but you can expect better for these prices.

If you sign up for the membership card you will receive a voucher for a free drink every tine you check in at Crowne Plaza.

This is a very nice hotel; great location, staff and rooms. I stayed in January 2012, and at that time, for any hotel stay in Switzerland you receive a local bus/subway pass. This hotel is right on the bus route into the centre of town, which made mobility and touring very convenient. There is a mall a few blocks away with many shops, and where you can buy wine and groceries. Frequent transportation to and from the airport makes it very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Crowne Plaza for one week over New Year 2011-12. Other reviews comment on the tired decor, and this is the case to an extent. However, the food at La Recolte restaurant was the best food in my entire trip. The chef set menu was absolutely beautiful food, great taste, quality ingredients, fantastic presentation. Lovely table setting.
Marco Polo bar is also commendable.

Room was nice. Airport wasn't too noisy. We only stayed one night before departing to Montreux so it was ideal. There are 2 petrol stations with small shops open late nearby plus some small shops for the day. For instance there's a bakery right opposite for breakfast. We would use it again.
