Stayed in December 2011 for a 1 week family ski vacation. The place is comfortable and a nice place to relax after a day of skiing. The rooms are spacious and clean, although agree that the place could use a little bit of maintenance. The guest lounge area is big and comfortable, with a nearby seperate room where the kids can play and entertain themselves on their own. Great DVD selection for evening entertainment! The guest kitchen is also big and well-equipped, which is a nice alternative to the expensive restaurants (shop at the Coop or corner shop at the train station). Bed mattresses are relatively thin (gets old after a week!), and our kids needed extra blankets at night. Shuttle service stops close to the premises. They also have lots of equipment on hand for any outdoor activities which is an added bonus. Owners are very helpful in providing advice on where and when to go places. A "carte sejour" that they offer to guests staying in Leysin allows you discounts on the tele-cabin, ice rink, pool, etc., so make sure you pick it up from them when you arrive.

“Too much fun!”
We had a great time for a last minute place to stay. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the place is spotlessly clean. The owners and their dog are super friendly and breakfast was basic B and B fare but good. Highly recommended if you need an inexpensive place to stay and want to relax.
Room Tip: room 7 has a nice balcony

“It doesn't get better than this”
This place is great. Not only is the house fascinating but the views are breathtaking and the best thing about it is the hosts - two of the most charming & charismatic people you'll ever meet. Our 18 month old loved running around in the garden, the terrace, and exploring the playroom. I've never felt more welcome or at home in a B&B (or in a hotel for that matter). This is what makes Les Airelles a truly unique experience.

“My sort of accommodation!”
Wins hands down against any sterile hotel!
We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer!
Both Helayne and Michel were lovely and went out of their way to book us in the best resturant and tell us where to walk to.
Access to the lounge, tea, coffee, fruit and internet was just awesome! Oh and waffles for breakfast!!!!!
