Comfortable hotel, nice location, ruined by a nasty manager. Daniel, the proprietor, would not let us alter our reservation even though we alerted him FIVE DAYS IN ADVANCE. He made us pay for a triple room that we no longer needed. At check-in he had the audacity to ask if we wanted to forsake the triple room - presumably so that he could rent it out again - but we would still have to pay for it! It's not as if we were denying the man our business, we were still taking four double rooms for our group. This parochial treatment left us seething!
The breakfast was a little disappointing, though not untypical of alpine lodgings. There was a buffet of cheese, ham, bread, yoghurt and two types of cereals. The only hot items were the drinks!
Rooms were simple, but pleasant and warm.
