We stayed in Grand Chalet for our first time on July 23rd for one night, suring our 6-day vacation in Lake Geneva region. We and a couple from Finland and travel a lot around the world, usually always stay in upscale accommodation.

Our night at Grand Chalet was the best of our entire vacation: the hotel was clean and room big, balcony had an amazing view and most of all, the Bonellli family and the whole staff really made us feel welcome.

Our dinner at the terrace restaurant was something that we will not forget. The food was superb and the atmosphere just wonderful and relaxing. The staff really served us, making our evening as wonderful as possible.

The hotel is situated on top of Leysin village which gives great views over the area. The telecabin up to the famous Kuklos restaurant is very close.

We would highly recommend this hotel and thank the Bonelli family very warmly!

What a lovely hotel!

We were attracted to it by its website and were not disappointed when we got there.

The people running the hotel, as well as their staff, were friendly and did their best to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as it could have been. Our children loved the fact that there was a swing in the garden and spent quite a while playing in the garden area, which allowed us to have breakfast/dinner in peace while keeping an eye on our little ones while they entertained themselves.

The rooms are spacious and clean, complete with phone, alarm, television and breathtaking views of the Alps! A truly lovely place to stay if you are looking for a nice little place in the mountains!

I booked a room in this hotel a month in advance. The day before my arrival, the manager called me to inform me that unfortunately my room was not available anymore !!! He proposed me a room in his other hotel (of course a lower class hotel), telling me that no other room was available anymore in Leysin. In addition to being incompetent, the manager was utterly arrogant and did not propose any financial compensation for the week-end I was planning to spend in the mountains. It seems that this was just a very lousy way for the manager to try and fill all his hotels (a kind of overbooking). He certainly thought that ringing me the day before my arrival would prevent me from booking anything else and force me to accept his offer! In the future I will definitely avoid all the hotels belonging to that manager.
