“4* , really? Two maybe”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

I am writing while still in the hotel. For the service they offer I would give them two starts maximum.
1. Broken tv remote taped with schoch tape
2. Broken main door handle, came out when closing the door
3. Toilet with dark remains on the bottom of it
4. One is ordering dinner untill 6pm so they know up front what you want to have for dinner. Waiting for the main dish 30 minutes and for the desert (icecream) 45minutes, ordered watter waited for 20 minutes. 5 waiters 15 tables, everyone were waiting loong time for their orders
5. No complimentary drinks as stated on the web site when booking
6. Selling intenet access 3 times more expensive then the same internet provider on the same hotspot, not giving you all the details that you have one hour free access
7. Not friendly staff.
8.BOOKED ROOM FOR TWO ADOULTS PLUS ONE CHILD, PAYING FOR THAT AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING I HAVE TO PAY FOR KIDS FOOD SEPARATELY!!!!!
The only good point is that this hotel has its own thermal pool, everything else sucks and it is far worst than any 2 or 3* hotel I have ever been to, not to menion 4 stars!!!

“An average stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012 via mobile

No surprises with this hotel: fairly good service, clean but small rooms. We didn't use their wellness center, which was included in the price; and therefore felt that the price was a little exaggerated for what basically was an overnight stay. We were told at the reception that Internet connection was not included in the price, although we could purchase it for 15 francs or use their computer by the reception. Upon arriving in our room and trying to connect to the Internet, we found out that the hotel offered 60 min of free internet connection (something that was not mentioned to us at the reception). We had another free 60 min the next morning. Two other points: 1) hotel outdoor parking is 8chf, garage parking is 15 chf; and 2) I would not recommend dining at the hotel, despite an excellent service.

This hotel is located in front of natural and slience mountain.
In spite of promotion price, we had a very good room at excellent view.
We enjoyed a comfortable environment , swimming and spa.
Also, it provided the hotel to gests picked up a bus station.

“Not a 4-star experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4, kids aged 5 and 6, for 5 days end 2011, beginning 2012.
Overall, the room was fine, but the room and bathroom, as the hotel in general, really need to be refurbished and are certainly not worthy of 4 stars. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they provided bath robes and slippers for the kids, as well as the adults, which was a nice touch. The sleeping arrangement was a very comfortable double bed, and a double sleeper couch for the kids to share. The area was quiet, so we could leave the window open slightly and slept well.
The best feature of the hotel is that it has it's own thermal baths, which are nicely done. It's a shame that many of the features in the pools didn't work.
The hotel staff in general were doing their jobs, but certainly didn't seem to be enjoing the process. The most pleasant, and only ones to smile and greet spontaneously, were the room maids.
By far, our worst experience was the evening meal (we were on half-board). Except for the first evening, the waiting time for the meals was beyond an hour, inspite of the fact that the dining room was only about 25% full, and that you pick your evening meal at breakfast time. Luckily the kids' meals were faster, but they obviously still had to wait for us to get and eat our dinner. On the first night, although the timing of the meal was perfectly normal, the fish was absolutely inedible. On another occasion, it was very good, but there must have been only about 25 grams of it on the plate! We did ask what was happening and why things were taking so unacceptably long in the kitchen, and were informed that the kitchen staff were down to 2 people, from 13 previously!! One could ponder on why they all left, but more importantly, the failure to solve the problem ahead of the busiest week of the year, during which they charge the highest rates, is a clear sign of poor management and unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.
There was a play area for the kids which again, was a good idea. Unfortunately the toys were in an appalling condition - again not up to a 4-star standard.
The gym room was small but well equipped and everything seemed to work just fine.
It's a shame the hotel is so poorly managed, because it certainly had potential to offer a great stay if things were kept up to standard and the staff took more interest in doing and delivering a better service.

“Depends how much you paid”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

We stayed for 1 night, and paid less than CHF150. For that price we were very happy with our stay. However had we paid more: The pools were too cold - meant we couldn’t stay in the water as long as we would have liked to. The sauna did not open till 11am so we couldn’t even warm up in there. Hotel rooms were very hot, opened window but had to have curtains open to get air into the room. Massive pillows but far too soft, one of each type would have been nice Shower in the room was cold water only at 6.30pm, whereas at 10am it was fine. Breakfast cost CHF 25 per person, which we didn't have as expensive, however, a walk in village proved not much other choice of places to go for breakfast. Took forever to get served for a drink in the hotel bar.
Overall we had a lovely stay in a beautiful, clean room and great surroundings but there were several things that were not quite right. If you get a good deal go for it, but be careful not to overpay and then expect everything to be perfect.
