As you probably have figured out yourself, this is not the Hilton.

This is more like a lower-class dependance of the Hilton located on top of the nearby hill.

Rooms are essential, depressing furniture, mediocre pillows.
Missing most amenities except for: TV, Shampoo, Toilet paper.

Breakfast is OK but choices are limited.

Service is quite good, staff friendly and helpful.

Shuttle bus to the airport (5mins distance) every 20-30 mins.

Businessmen: if your company is not forcing you to stay here, please stay at the Hilton or the Moevenpick closeby.

Good place when you get bumped off a flight and travel on a limited budget because it is withing 20 minutes walking distance from the Zurich airport. Is also serviced by the Hilton shuttle bus which takes merely 5 minutes to get there from the airport. Modern rooms and quiet, considering the closeness of the busy airport. Delicious breakfast is included, Reasonable rates, especially on weekends. Bathrooms are too small and poorly equipped.
Front desk staff somewhat terse. Not a place for a vacation. Just a convient stopover near the airport.

If I were on vacation, I would not choose to stay at the Hilton Apart-Hotel. Why?
Firstly, whilst it is run by the Hilton, it is not a part of the Hilton chain, so you dont get the Hiloton Honors points nor the hilton experience.

As most people have said, the hotel is very basic. It has just undergone a refresh (some new carpets and furniture) but it is incredibly basic and furnished very cheaply. The horrible cheap blue toilet seats were a personal dislike for me!

All thi sbeing said, I satyed there for nearly 4 months two nights per week and they offered the best rate in the whole of Zurich. I paid 144 SFr per night which is hal fof what oyu can expect to pay for some pretty average 4/5* hotels in Zurich.
The staff are your, charming and usually trainees. They are incredibly helful and chatty which is always a bonus.
There are no local amenities (other than the airport) but you can use the gym at th eHilton hotel which is 200 meteres up the road.
Food choice is limited but protion sizes are immense. Again, by Zurich standards, the price is good.
The only bug-bear for me is the shuttle bus which is operate dfor the hilton by a third party company. The drivers are usually surly bordering on rude (you will be lucky to get a hello out of some of them). If there are airline crews leaving at the same time as you they get priority and i have on more than one occassion has to wait more than 40 minutes, having not been able to get on two busses.
If you want the night life and entertainment that Zurich has to offer, dont stay there, as it takes an age to get to the centre but shuttle bus and train, but if you are looking for clean comfortable and cheap, then its as good a place as any.

Location is near to train stop / bus. Vehicle services are available to and from airport.
Definitely recommended for bed and breakfast type.
