A nice place to stay, walking distance from the town, the lake and the spas. The rooms were clean but not that spacious. The breakfast was okay. Overall for a couple of nights I would recommend this hotel.
Yverdon-les-Bains is definitely worth a visit. The famous thermal spas there are great value and lots of fun. I would recommend going there in the evening as there is more atmosphere. The hotel can arrange tickets for the spas on your behalf which is very useful. The town has a lot of character and is very pretty, with an idyllic lakeside location.

We were given a tiny cramped room. The owner told us this was because there was a big group in who had to take precedence. We booked 5 months ago. The so-called modular bathrooms are ridiculous. They are like an aeroplane toilet with a shower squeezed in a corner. Nowhere to put anything. We are not big people but after finally accomplishing a shower the entire bathroom is soaked. And don't tell me that is what a 'wet-room" is! I've been in proper wet rooms and they are wonderful. The excuse that building regulations demanded this type of bathroom didn't ring true. They are an insult to guests.

This hotel was ok. We had a room on the top floor of the hotel. The room was clean and modern and very lilac.

The bathroom was hilarious. Some sort of plastic pod - a bit like an aircraft toilet. Neither me or my husband are particularly large but we still found it a struggle. Don't even try to get two people in the bathroom at the same time.

The breakfast was poor. Stale croissants and brown bananas anyone? No restaurants but there are lots of really nice places to eat within easy walking distance.

Odd stay - won't be going back.

Interesting conversion, with even more building work going on out back. The railway line was quite close, so a bit of noise from that, but not enough to keep us awake. The staff were pretty trendy - either dressed all in black or white. Friendly, without being overbearing.

As noted elsewhere, the bathroom pod was ridiculously cramped: impossible to sit on the loo without banging knees against the door.

Breakfast was self-service, and one morning pretty much everything ran out before 9, both food and crockery.

Well situated for the town centre, with plenty of places to eat; the lake was a bit further away, but manageable.
