I cannot rave enough about this cozy, clean, family-owned/run establishment. Gorgeous views, quiet, HUGE room, super-sweet staff and great price sums it up. Beds were so comfy, kitchen, dining area and living room perfectly sized and stocked. Huge bathtub to relax in. Great, long balcony to dine on. Their restaurant is nonsmoking which is refreshing if you've been through the rest of Europe as a nonsmoker. Internet is iffy on a Mac but you'll spend your entire time outside anyway admiring this amazingly pristine town. It's undiscovered as far as average tourist destinations go and I'd like to see it stay that way! Close to other towns by train and bus, it was a break midway through our hectic and full European tour. I wish I could have stayed at least 4 more days. Before September, there are great activities like bicycle tours and hikes. The food was delicious and the people were SO kind they made Paris look like a bunch of unevolved neanderthals. Did I say it was clean? Environmentalists will shake their heads in disbelief of how far behind the U.S. is in that respect.
