We went to Verbier skiing for NY last year (08/09) and the location was absolutely perfect with lovely fresh snow and fantastic skiing conditions. Our chalet with TOTAL SKI was called Chalet Jasmine and it was absolutely terrible.
Advertised for 10-5 pax, we were 14 yet there was only seating for 7. the sofa had to be moved in order for everyone to sit at the table for dinner.
The chalet staff were friendly but totally incompetent and the food was very average. High tea never being served despite it being in the package. The fire was never lit. The kitchen was filthy with red meat above the vegetables in the kitchen. The floors were disgusting and light bulbs blew on a frequent basis.
Total Ski resort Management were useless and we found them threatening when dealing with our list of complaints. The chalet is a 10+minute walk from the village and there are then many concrete badly lit steps to the chalet.
I would never recommend the company or chalet to anyone.
