cool design hotel with good bar and restaurant in central verbier , very sleek modern rooms with i pod docks etc , friendley staff and a small spa

I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and friendly atmosphere during my stay at the Nevai and am shocked there aren't more positive reviews here. In my opinion, it was refreshing to experience such warmth and friendliness from staff at a 4* hotel (sometimes hotels with more stars carry more stiff approaches) especially in the bar, where I could sit alone or with friends and have a nice time chatting with the staff, getting priceless tips and info on the resort and surrounding local area, or just have a laugh with on the quieter occassions. The people who have written some of these scalding reviews obviously arrived with a chip on their shoulders, and need to learn to relax when they are on holiday instead of complaining that there is too much partying going on - it's Verbier for petes sakes!!

Had a great time, great food, service, cocktails, view, location. Hotel even has a shuttle bus which drops you to & from the slopes at no extra charge. Now I see why they have so many returnees. i shall be one of them!

I would advise anyone considering this hotel to thing again. It is wildly overpriced and hte attitude of nearly all the staff was to regard guests as something of a nuisance. most defintely keep away from the spa, hte staff there seemed to think that they existed to serve some higher life form and were quite insulted when we mere hotel guests paying 250CHF per night each went to use their facilities as had been arranged with reception because a late check-out was not possible on the day we left.

currently ranked 22 out of 23. the 23rd must be totally horrendous.

stayed 3 nights and then canceled and decided to go to another hotel

room was very noisy every night until late

some of the reception desk people and staff was not very friendly

for some reason, spa was off during the 3 days

only breakfast was ok

far too expensive for what you get, stay away !
