If you will make your mind to stay in Scuol, I strongly recommend this hotel.

There may be expensive hotels that have more convenient facilities, I think this hotel is the best in Scuol.

Because this hotel will let you know the kindness & warmness.

We stayed in this hotel at September 29th, this year. We had been in Rothenburg in the previous day.

We arrived in this hotel at 5 o'clock PM, the young male staff welcomed us with big smile.

I gave the hotel boucher to him, and then I knew I had made a big mistake.

The reservation that I had made was September 28th....

I had double booked in Rothenburg & in Scuol at the same day !

The staff relieved our anxiety saying "Don't worry, I may solve this problem. Wait a minute"

He checked the rooms, and said so kindly,

" You booked at wrong day but We will offer a room. Free of charge. Rest comfotably! "

He saved us in spite of my big mistake. Above all, Free of Charge !!! It was so cool !!!

I made reservation of dinner too, after unpaking our luggage we went to the restaurant of the hotel.

The female waitress served our meal in the restaurant. She was also very kind. and The food was good too.

We ordered local beer & wine. they satisfied us.

The room was a little old-fashioned but very clean, and had kitchen to make small food.

Next morning, When We checked out, we knew the young male staff was a son of the owner.

His name was 'Duri Gianotti'. I want to thank him by writing review.

Although he was a son of the owner, he was very kind and modest.

I can't forget his kindness & warmness. He deserves to be praised.

I'm sure that It won't be long he achieves success.

If we visited Scuol again, we would stay in this hotel.

P.S) If you rent a car, the parking is so easy. You can park in front of the hotel free of charge. and You can also use WiFi at the restaurant.

If you want to bath in 'Engadin Bad Scuol', you should stay in this hotel. 'Engadin bad Scuol' is so close from this hotel.

The family running the hotel is top notch! The services itself impecable and the situation great. This is a gem and the little town itself is also a truly beautiful little Swiss town.

We stayed for a week on half board, and the Conrad proved excellent value for money. Comfortable rooms (we had a west facing balcony - great to sit out in the evening) and very good food. Staff and management were friendly and helpful. There is no bar in the hotel, and the picturesque old part of Scuol where the hotel is located is very very quiet at night, but if you do not want any nightlife and like going to bed early then there will be no problem! The family that run the hotel look after their guests in a very professional manner.

We just returned from 2 nights in Scuol in Switzerland. There were 3 couples in our group and we went to Scuol to sample a wellness weekend that is so popular with the Swiss. We stayed at the Hotel Conrad which I would highly recommend for value for money, location and service.

The location of the hotel is in the historical centre but easy walk to everything. Although note that the train station is quite a walk (over 1km and uphill on the way back!) which is fine for the fit but potentially tiring for the unfit. Not a problem though if you drive! Scuol is tiny and there was not much happening (in terms of bars, people walking around etc) when we were there but this added to its charm. It really is one of the most picturesque places I have seen in Switzerland. The surrounding area is perfect for walks - we did a walk from Scuol to Ftan (route 444) and it was so beautiful.

Going to the spa and having an Irish-Roman bath is an absolute must! The requirement of no clothes could put people off but if you can get past this - it is truly a fabulous experience.

The hotel has a great restaurant (the rosti with ham and cheese is to die for!) and are so helpful if you prefer to try something outside of the hotel. We went to Astral for dinner one night and it was delicious.

The hotel room was small but clean and the view from the window was superb! It is in such a good location and good value that I would definitely stay again. Plus the service and the restaurant is fantastic!
