Just come back from a ski holiday in Saas Fee with two adults and a 14 year old. Saas Fee is beautiful and the DuGlacier is great. The hotel is in the centre of the village with a ski rental shop opposite and the ski bus just a minute walk away. Our room on the first floor was a decent size with twin beds and a sofa bed, with a fridge mini bar. Bathroom was good size with a plenty of hot water which was great for soaking aching ski legs!! The room was cleaned every day. Only minor problem was the door handle which my daughter and I found difficult to open. We stayed half board, the breakfast is typical continental and the four course evening meal was really good. All the staff are excellent and very friendly. The view of the glacier from the restaurant is lovely. There are two bars in the hotel and the drinks in the hotel are no more expensive than anywhere else in the village. There is a supermarket right next to the hotel. We didnt use the leisure facilities so cant comment on them. There is a ski and boot room in the hotel but we utilised the boot and ski storage facilities at the slopes (10 francs for a week) If you dont use the ski bus it is a leisurely just less than 10 min walk in ski boots to the slopes. We would definitely go to the Du Glacier again.
