I have been staying at this hotel twice, both times for a week of skiing during the Christmas season. While the building, its fittings and furniture is extremely old (dating back to the early '80s I guess), it is well kept and mantained. The rooms are small but each one has a balcony and a magnificent view on the great Wallis valley. The restaurant is excellent and worth a visit even if not staying at the hotel. The wine list, made up almost exclusively by local wines, is also extremely good, The property is at the end of a very steep cul-de-sac which makes the short walk (300m) to the cabin lift that takes you to the skiing resort a bit difficult for older people. It lacks some ouside space for kids to be able to play and stay outside even if there is a small playground which I gues is accessible only during summer. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a great value for money.
