The Hotel Suisse in Champery is a beautifully run and organised establishment. It was a complete joy to stay there last Winter for a few days skiing.
Our room was very comfortable with an amazing view, very clean and up to date.
One of the great highlights of our stay was Afternoon Tea. What a choice! Delicious cakes and patisserie and many choices of tea. Just what you needed after an exhilarating day on the slopes.
Breakfast was absolutely excellent with so much choice of fresh produce and delicious egg and bacon too!
A true delight. They should be very proud.

While this place can be pricey, it's location is superb. Located on what can be considered the main street, it is easy to get almost every by walking. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well taken care of, and the staff here are multilingual and extremely helpful.

Right in the middle of the village road of Champéry, this hotel provides solid Swiss comfort in a nice setting. Since it is a historical building, the rooms are all somewhat different. We had a slightly smaller one, which made up with a splendid view of the Dents Du Midi, a balcony and by being rather luminous.

The common area with comfortable armchairs or the big covered sun terrace is excellent and if that's part of your package a very nice tea time is provided. Wireless internet did not work in most rooms, but mostly works fine in these areas. The breakfast buffet is nicely varied. There is no hotel restaurant, just a lively bar, but the reception will gladly provide you with hints and even some menu cards of the various restaurants within a few minutes walk. One, rather up-market, is just across the small street.

If you come in winter the deal with next door's Berra Sports is indeed very convenient as the back door of the shop with the rental gear is literally a few steps from the ski room door of Hotel Suisse.

The final touch comes from the owners who were truly charming hosts, friendly in a very natural and relaxed manner, an attitude that also was reflected in the hotel staff.

We had a great stay at hotel suisse. The owners were really friendly and helpful, we felt at home. We enjoyed the free tea and cakes after skiing and the cosy rooms.
