Participating in a family reunion c/o Timmendorfer Strand, I chose this hotel (for 3 nights) for myself, my father + spouse as well as my mother and we thus had 3 rooms, of which 2 "superior apartments" and 1 "category I double room" (single use), all conveniently located at the same floor in "Haus Duene" (a dependence on the rear part of the site); the apartments consisted of a living-room, sleeping-room, kitchen, bathroom with separate toilet and were really comfortable (even beyond needs, as I did not even use the kitchen); the double room, occupied by my mother alone, was very pleasant too; all rooms were suitably equipped and outfitted. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the hotel restaurant too provided a delightful food experience in a cozy environment. The location is most favorable: it takes you only a few steps to the central area of the town with its nice shops and cafés as well as to the beach. Therefore, I can describe our stay at “Holsteiner Hof” as a very agreeable and pleasant experience and I’d recommend this hotel for everyone planning a short or long-term stay in this enjoyable area of the Baltic Sea.
