This hotel is small, familiar, but offers all the quality required for business trips or private trips
All items indicated in the checklist given by this system apply very well. If you go to this hotel you will almost feel at home. The people are very nice. Also the city offers many attractions, and entertainments. In the summer period you have the impression being in the south of Europe with all the restaurants giving possibilities to sit outside.
The region offers many possibilities for biking and others. You are near France as well. Saarlouis is a calm nice town close to Trier as well.

This is a cheap, scruffy hotel not quite within walkin distance from the town centre. The room was basic but there is no lift. The hotel has a large car park but it is best to pay extra for garaging on site as someone tried to get into our car that night which triggered the alarm. Fortunately our room overlooked the car park so our prompt action saved the situation. We were expecting a mediochre breakfast but were stunned at the choice and quality - the breakfast was worth the price of the room alone. OK for an overnight business stop but not ideal for tourists.
