my partner and i have just stayed at this hotel or 6 nights and it was way above our expectations. we paid extra for a river view with balcony and it was well worth the extra money. the room was light , clean and spacious and a very comfortable bed. the staff were very helpful and friendly. breakfast was included and was excellent. on 2 nights we ate at the hotel. they had an extensive menu and the food was well priced and of a high quality. we would definately stay here again and we would reccommend it to others.

We stayed at the guest house of the Hotel Noss recently and found it to be neat and clean but horribly small. Our room was located just above street level and you could hear the cars all night.

I stayed at the Noss in July, 2005 (my third time in Cochem), and found the single room to be much too small, with an incredibly cramped bathroom. I tried to get a double, but they were booked.

The buffet breakfast is outstanding.

The staff were nice and friendly, but there was a problem with security. There was a noisy and drunk guest, but the staff goes off duty at night. There is absolutely no one on duty to see. This is not good.

I definitely will not stay here again, and strongly suggest not to get a single room.
