The Hotel Baeren is a typical, smaller European hotel with smaller, comfortable rooms with bathrooms and showers in each.
The receptionist put up with my attempt at German even though she spoke English quite well. She was very friendly and recommended several things to see and do in the town.
The rate for the room was 55 euros, including breakfast. There was parking available in the city parking lot across the street. You had to pay up until 6 or 7 PM, and then overnight parking was free. The parking fees resumed at 9 AM, but the first hour was free.
Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast--rolls, yogurts, fruit, meats, cheeses, mueseli, etc.
The room was small, had a twin bed (single room), a small flat panel TV and a small bathroom.
The motif of the hotel came from the name of the hotel--Hotel Baeren (Hotel Bears)--so there are teddy bears and bear pictures throughout the hotel. They even leave a small packet of Gummi Baeren on your pillow at night.
I would return to the hotel.
