Previous reviews did not bear any resemblance with our experience of the hotel, and are, in any event, not very recent; so this update will hopefully prove useful to readers. We booked the hotel as a 'blind' purchase from Lastminute.com, and it was an excellent buy at £40 for 1 night. Tryp is a good 4* facility, modern, very stylish, in excellent condition and with a very good restaurant and bar. Service was friendly, helpful and very efficient. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. I really liked the atmosphere and smart design.

It is about 10 minutes by taxi from DUS airport, so you can add 2 x €15 fares to the cost, which has to be considered. The location is in a smart commercial business park, close to shops and a McDonalds and Burger King if this is of interest, though the food was excellent in the hotel. Wired internet is fast and free, and chargeable WiFi through T Mobile available. Breakfast was quite pricey at €18 each, but again, was very comprehensive, and extremely good quality, if you needed it. They do a cheaper continental style quick breakfast if you fly early.

This was a very quiet, good airport overnight transit hotel, at an excellent price, with excellent facilities and service. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it and will certainly use it again if passing through Dusseldorf overnight.

Two of the front desk staff were so incredibly RUDE. We actually caught them making keys that didn't work so we would have to go back down for more. It sounds too unbelievable to be true - but it is not. I have never experienced anything quite like it. We tried to contact the manager but he didn't return our call or reply to an email we sent. Don't stay here if you value privacy at all. The bathrooms are wide open to the room. We had no choice but to stay at Innside for six days - and it was MISERY.

For a big fair in Dusseldorf, had to stay in Dusseldorf for 2 nights. Booking 1.5 months in advance, most of hotels were already full, so I choosed this one, not too far from the fair.
Name was sounding quite pretigious, but also the price.... 350 Euros a night!

i was expecting at least 4stars basic accomodation... this was worst than a 2 stars hotel in Europe!!! and i;ve done many of them!
Room very small, with a so thin door that you hear everything from the corridor, same for the walls and your neighboors... RRAHH.
strange king of shower in the middle of the room, fully windowed...

Go there only in last option, and don't pay more than 50 EUros, doesn't worth more!

Stayed here for a few days with work.. rooms very nice, modern and clean..I especially liked the glass round shower almost in the middle of my room...my room also had a microwave and cooker... but well hidden in some tasteful cupboards.. I did't even know they were there until the second day..
The free mini bar was a nice touch after a long day..
The restaurant was very good with excellent service.. good size portions and tasty freshly cooked food..japanese, italian..
Breakfast was also very good... so no complaints at all really.. would definitely stay again..
Sorry can't comment on location for tourists as I was at an exhibition with work..
