Don't know really, I did like the place somehow, but you feel a bit strange there as its only 50 or even 60+ that stay here. Not a single one below that age. Found the rooms ok, but a little overpriced I have to say. Location is good, next to the river Rhine, make sure you get a room with a view as the other ones aren't as nice.

Very pleasant stay; the only slight issue was the noisy refuse collection around 5am.

More than made up for by the quality of the (set) evening meal and breakfast though.

The hotel is not new and not very luxurious.
On the other hand it is kept very clean and has all the facilities.
Room is spacious, clean, WiFi works well. breakfast is excellent as in all Maritim hotels.
The streets around are very nice with small family owned, traditional restaurants - a nice surprise

plus++++ nice situation of hotel/nice views/tram at 20 meters from hotel; brings you in 20 min to Bonn = nice shopping
minus---- passed glory/ big rooms , very oldisch and not well kept/ expensif drinks/
sat tv = 27 euro per day
pay tv = 1 episode of E.R. (35 min ) will cost you 10 euro, etc...
swimmingpool not suitable for little children : 1m80 all over//if uou take early breakfast, you are served the rest of the day before.....
You do not book this for their kindness.
conclusion of my 3 days stay : rather a rich 3* hotel than a poor 4* hotel
