The pictures would make you think that this hotel is in a meadow, overlooking the Alps. The truth is, it's in a new development outside a small town (you'll need a car) right next to other hotels and housing with views of the parking lot below.
Rooms are dark and dreary and there's nobody on duty after 6 p.m. Billiard room and sauna, which were supposed to be available, were locked up. Breakfast is between 8 and 9:30 a.m. and consisted of yesterday's leftovers. It's not that the hotel staff was rude, it's just that it felt like they didn't want to be inconvenienced in any way.
All in all, a pretty depressing place. We packed up a day early, forfeited a night's stay, and went elsewhere. It was worth it.
(On a bright note, the Post-Brauerei in downtown Nesselwang was a nice place for dinner.)
