We drove to Freising from Muenchen and quickly saw that this hotel was in the middle of the city, right near the Marktplatz. They have a private parking lot in the back (free).
Warning - the elevator is very small and once you are on your floor there still may be some stairs to go up or down. I ran into some Americans who were having trouble with their huge suitcases. (I suppose they were staying here for a layover?)
The inside of the room was -- well interesting. Our room had two beds that were built-into the rest of the room. It had a small sitting area and an ok bathroom. The room was very clean, but the furnishings were pretty out-dated.
However, for sleeping and resting it was perfect. Once rested, the hotel's location on the main street made it easy to start a stroll.
