We booked this hotel together with another family, looking forward to a fun (mid-)week for the children and some good food and relaxation for us adults. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but we figured the environment was not that important as the hotel seemed to offer much for families.
When we arrived it was time for dinner...and our first shock. Aluminium trays with overcooked vegetables, unappealing looking meat and fish and generally looking closer to a Raststätte along the motorway than a 4 star hotel.
The next morning it was time to get to know the Happy Club for kids. Well, the uninspiring room where it was located certainly did not make us happy and the girls working there did not look happy either...The first activity was going for a walk outside with the children. So they went, walked around aimlessly for almost an hour, and came back not wanting to go to the Kids Club ever again.
In the afternoon we went to the swimming pool and that was a success. It is big, nice and warm with a separate pool for small children. So that is where we spent a lot of time over the next few days.
But to cut a long story short: we came back more tired than before our five days holiday, and felt the hotel was definitely not worth the 200 Euros+ per day that we paid.
