We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Garni Buchberg, Buchbergstrasse 13, D-88697, Bermatingen, near Meersburg.
The hotel was situated approx 7 km from Meersburg. (Your mapping of the hotel appears wrong.)
The hotel was located in a residential area.
The hotel appears to have been newly renovated. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with a mini bar in the room. Each room had a balcony or individual terrace where you could sit down, relax and have a cold beer or two.
The breakfast was absolutely excellent with a multiple choice of dishes to choose from.
The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent English, that was a great help for those who cannot understand or speak German.
