We were so happy with our choice of this hotel. Received an excellent rate via the Radisson website. Our rate included breakfast and taxes and we were charged an extra 10 euros only for my daughter to stay in the same room in a roll-away bed with breakfast- very generous. The room was nice and clean- an excellent 4 star hotel in my book.
Huge walk-in shower, make-up mirror in bathroom, toiletries and hair dryer. Great TV
(no room safe), mini bar stocked, comfy beds. Wonderful room service- great service and quality of food.
We did not use it, but there is a FANTASTIC swimming pool/ massage area on the ground floor of the hotel-a lovely and relaxing spot- I was impressed!
The generous buffet breakfast was FIRST CLASS and fabulous. Everything you can imagine in a buffet (including the smoked salmon which I always love)
I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. We did not visit Karlsruhe, but used this hotel as a gateway to Baden-Baden and the Black Forest. I hope to come again! (the hotel will soon change names from Radisson SAS to Radisson Blu)
We were so happy to have a REAL HOTEL after several nights in B +B type accommodations in Germany. We were especially happy to stay at such a wonderful place for such a bargain price- bravo Radisson!

I was in this hotel for business and relaxing many times. The Hotel has got a very good location just a few minutes from the highway "A5", so you could be very fast at points of interest like "Messe Karlsruhe" or Karlsruhe City. I always got a very good service by day and night. The employees are alway friendly and bother to find a solution for any problem.
Altough the hotel got a free high-speed Internet access by accespoints. I stayed in comfortable and commodious business class rooms which are equipped with a relaxing chair, minibar, flatscreen and an espresso machine.
All in all I could say the Radisson SAS (now called Radisson BLU) is the best hotel in Karlsruhe.

We were traveling form The Netherlands to Italy and had a overnight stay here in Karlsruhe. I thought because this hotel is a member of the SAS-Radisson group the standards would be as high as normally could be expected but it just didnt.

It started with check in when they gave us a room, witch when we opened the had two people in it, (naked) so we appolligised and went quickly downstairs to the reception, they gave us a otehr room and appoligised.

I have stayed in a lot of hotel rooms and this one was a bit below averidge, but it was clean and okey as we had been driving all day.

Th erestaurant was the only outstanding thing in this hotel, the quality of teh food was Excellent!! go for the popon soup!!!!

It is a huge hotel with absolutely no atmosphere.

this is not a bad choise when arriving late and leaving in the early morning just as a stop over hut if you want a bit more luxery go to the Renaissance of Novotel in karlsruhe centre, ( it only takes about 100 minutes more by car and the room rates are about the same)

Best place for people who likes traffic noise.
