We stayed here for four nights with two older teenage children. We had a rental car and used this as a base to explore the Black Forest.
Pros: accessibility to the highway for exploring around; great pool and sauna tow wind down at the end of a day on the road; wifi worked wonderfully and was included in the price; free parking;staff was wonderful
Cons: breakfast was not included and was expensive €20 (we opted to pass because we have picky eaters and couldn't justify the cost); absolutely no restaurants in the area so traveling to eat took far more time than we would have liked; beds not as comfortable as the other hotel we stayed at this trip. With windows open, you can hear the highway, but this did not keep us awake
Great value and fit exactly what we needed.

I formerly had informed the hotel about a special surprise for my fiance and asked them to provide a nice 3-course menu for us in the evening of our arrival. They did even more than that. We had a very nice and warm personal welcome and our table was custome decorated for us with 3 candles. Like a true candle-light dinner. My fiance was excited right away. Then the menu was served to us by the chefs themselves and each course was just awesome. Both of us never had a wonderful dinner like this before. We had booked a business room on the 5th floor and once we got in there, there was a nice welcome note on the tv screen, robes and slippers. The bathroom was nice and clean and we enjoyed the huge shower. Not to forget about the provided shower gel which smelled just wonderful and was so refreshing (which I cannot say about other hotels which I have been to before). The next morning we also enjoyed a great breakfast buffet with any- and everything you could imagine. I would go there again any time!

We were so happy with our choice of this hotel. Received an excellent rate via the Radisson website. Our rate included breakfast and taxes and we were charged an extra 10 euros only for my daughter to stay in the same room in a roll-away bed with breakfast- very generous. The room was nice and clean- an excellent 4 star hotel in my book.
Huge walk-in shower, make-up mirror in bathroom, toiletries and hair dryer. Great TV
(no room safe), mini bar stocked, comfy beds. Wonderful room service- great service and quality of food.
We did not use it, but there is a FANTASTIC swimming pool/ massage area on the ground floor of the hotel-a lovely and relaxing spot- I was impressed!
The generous buffet breakfast was FIRST CLASS and fabulous. Everything you can imagine in a buffet (including the smoked salmon which I always love)
I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. We did not visit Karlsruhe, but used this hotel as a gateway to Baden-Baden and the Black Forest. I hope to come again! (the hotel will soon change names from Radisson SAS to Radisson Blu)
We were so happy to have a REAL HOTEL after several nights in B +B type accommodations in Germany. We were especially happy to stay at such a wonderful place for such a bargain price- bravo Radisson!

I was in this hotel for business and relaxing many times. The Hotel has got a very good location just a few minutes from the highway "A5", so you could be very fast at points of interest like "Messe Karlsruhe" or Karlsruhe City. I always got a very good service by day and night. The employees are alway friendly and bother to find a solution for any problem.
Altough the hotel got a free high-speed Internet access by accespoints. I stayed in comfortable and commodious business class rooms which are equipped with a relaxing chair, minibar, flatscreen and an espresso machine.
All in all I could say the Radisson SAS (now called Radisson BLU) is the best hotel in Karlsruhe.
